I. Production Process
The low-voltage cable extrusion line is mainly used for the production of building wires BV and BVR low-voltage cables. The production process is as follows:
- Raw material preparation: Prepare insulating materials such as PVC, PE, XLPE, or LSHF and possibly PA (nylon) sheath materials.
- Material transportation: Transport the raw materials into the extruder through a specific conveying system.
- Extrusion molding: In the extruder, the raw materials are heated and extruded through a specific mold to form the insulating layer or sheath layer of the cable. For the BVV tandem extrusion line, tandem extrusion can also be performed to achieve a more complex cable structure.
- Cooling and solidification: The extruded cable is cooled and solidified through a cooling system to make its shape stable.
- Quality inspection: During the production process, various inspection equipments are used to inspect the cable’s size, appearance, electrical properties, etc. to ensure that the product quality meets the standards.
- Winding and packaging: Qualified cables are wound up and packaged for transportation and storage.
II. Usage Process
- Equipment installation and debugging: Before using the low-voltage cable extrusion line, equipment installation and debugging are required. Ensure that the equipment is firmly installed, all parts are connected properly, and the electrical system is stable and reliable.
- Raw material preparation: According to production needs, prepare corresponding insulating materials and sheath materials, and ensure that the material quality meets the requirements.
- Parameter setting: According to the cable’s specifications and requirements, set the parameters such as temperature, pressure, and speed of the extruder. These parameter settings need to be adjusted according to different materials and cable specifications to ensure stable cable quality.
- Start-up and operation: After completing equipment installation and debugging and parameter setting, the equipment can be started up and operated. During the operation, closely monitor the equipment’s operating status and adjust parameters in time to ensure a stable production process.
- Quality inspection: During the production process, regularly inspect the cable’s quality to ensure that it meets the standards. If quality problems are found, adjust equipment parameters or take other measures in time for treatment.
- Shutdown and maintenance: After production, perform shutdown maintenance on the equipment. Clean up the residues inside the equipment, check the wear condition of each part of the equipment, and replace damaged parts in time to prepare for the next production.
III. Parameter Characteristics
- Diversified models: There are multiple models of this low-voltage cable extrusion line available, such as NHF70+35, NHF90, NHF70+60, NHF90+70, NHF120+90, etc., which can meet the production needs of different specifications of cables.
- Wide cross-sectional area range: Different models of equipment can produce cables with different cross-sectional areas ranging from 1.5 – 6mm² to 16 – 300mm², able to meet the needs of various building wires.
- Controllable completed outer diameter: According to different models and production requirements, the completed outer diameter can be adjusted within a certain range. For example, the completed outer diameter of the NHF70+35 model is 7mm, and that of the NHF90 model is 15mm.
- High maximum line speed: The maximum line speed of this line can reach 300m/min (some models are 150m/min), which can improve production efficiency and meet the needs of large-scale production.
- Tandem extrusion available: The production line can complete tandem extrusion matching and be used for PA (nylon) sheath extrusion to increase the cable’s protection performance.
- Optional auxiliary machine: An auxiliary machine can be optionally equipped for extruding color strips on the cable’s outer sheath to make the cable more beautiful and easy to identify.
- Professional research and development and manufacturing: Our company focuses on the research and development and manufacturing of wire and cable automation equipment to ensure stable performance and reliable quality of the equipment.
In conclusion, our low-voltage cable extrusion line has advantages such as an efficient production process, a simple usage process, and outstanding parameter characteristics, and can provide high-quality production solutions for building wires BV and BVR low-voltage cables.
